rice, dry chicken varuval, eggplant
tandoori naan set
This restaurant has a few chains throughout the island but the most easiest nd convenient one is in Tanjung Bungah next to the Rooftop Cafe opposite Crown Prince Hotel. There's also another one in Little India. This place operates from morning till late at night and they serve a variety of food ranging from Indian cuisine, Chinese, Malaysian delicasies and so much more.
Divya's Say
I actually have nothing but good things to say about this place. I visit this place pretty often and i just love everything about it. The food, environment, the service, price...everything. During this particular visit, i had rice with dry chicken varuval, some vege, and eggplant with curry ofcourse and also not forgetting the rassem. Overall my plate of rice cost me RM4.50. way much better than going to the mamak shops. You can actually ask for more rice without any cost which is actually a plus point for those who tend to ask for extra rice during their meals. I also had my personal favourite, Sweet lassi. It's actually part sweet, part with a sour-ish tang and its very foamy. It cost around RM2-3 for a glass. Personally i've also tried the tosai, idly, roti tisu (which is special from the other mamak shops), roti bom, banana leaf set before from this restaurant aswell. They all taste very good. My most recent tries was the banana leaf set with fried lady's finger. It was about RM4-5 for the set. definately worth my money. The place is very clean even the wash area. And they had two wash areas one at the front and another at the back. they also have a mini playground for children. the branch in Tanjung Bungah is usually fulled woth tourist especially during weekends and if you're thinking about organizing a birthday party or any kind of small function you can definately do it here as they have a spot reserved for functions. The service is pretty good, some of the workers might have language barriers but still you wont have a problem stressing out what you want. So if you're on a look out for some indian cuisine, afforable, tasty and even halal definately check this place out and give it a try. there's no surprise why i would give this place a 5/5, i highly recommend this place to anyone who loves indian food or maybe just want to have a go at it.
Melvina's Say
This was my first time trying out this place & I absolutely love it. When I first looked at the menu I didn't know what to order because there so many variety of food. After deciding for a while I ended up with the tandoori naan set. The food was amazing, the chicken was the tastiest. The set cost around RM 7 - RM 9. It was also very filling indeed. As for the drinks, I have an obsession with tea so I had iced tea which came with a lovely cup,it was good. This place also serves alcohol if your a drinker. We decided to dine outdoor because the indoors were packed. We sat at a little booth near the entrance which almost seems like we were having a picnic in the park. The place was definitely clean & a tourist spot.
I would give this place a 4/5 rating. I'll definitely come back here again because there are just so many other food I would love to try.
